About MRCES
One of the oldest and most respected electrical businesses in the Margaret River area; Margaret River Cowaramup Electrical Services has grown to be one of the biggest electrical companies in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.
MRCES is your complete electrical contractor; from your most basic shed fit off to most complex automated property. Electrical services, home theatre, push control systems, security, CCTV, television, home automation, communications, energy management and lighting control systems from domestic to industrial and commercial properties.
Close relationships with other electrical contractors and tradesmen such as plumbers, builders, painters and earthworks contractors enables MRCES to complete any requests.
Started in 1981 by Ian and Helen Earl, MRCES has trained up close to 24 apprentices and has been a supporter of Structured Workplace learning placements for the local Senior High School for over 30 years. Currently employing 12 tradesmen, 5 apprentices, 1 storeman and 4 admin; MRCES can attend all jobs in a quick and timely manner.
A strong supporter of local non for profit organisations and sporting groups, Margaret River Cowaramup Electrical Services has been involved in the local Football, Cricket and Golf Clubs; local arts; Lions Club activities, Sea Search and Rescue, Fire stations and has a strong sense of community spirit within the organisation.

After starting his apprenticeship in 1969 in Perth, Ian moved back to Cowaramup in 1981 and started Cowaramup Electrical with Helen. Ian is a 3rd generation “Cowaramupian” and has been heavily involved in local community groups throughout his life. Junior and senior football and cricket, golf, bush fire brigade, School P&C and bmx are just a few of the groups he has be involved with at some point in time.
